Guy in the Sky (Weather and Events)

On hiatus - where's Guy?  Do you know?

Guy in the Sky - for Friday, August 10, 2012
A paper airplane was found at the offices of the Three Pines Gander over the weekend. Apparently, our Guy in the Sky is a bit winded after his recent adventures. Looking forward to an update from him soon!

Guy in the Sky - for Friday, August 3, 2012
At 11pm, did you know where your Guy was? Two and a half hours later, the story can be told. Guy in the Sky - for Friday, July 27, 2012
Still no sign of Guy.  Shore Thing Hospital assures us that he is not in any of its patient rooms, its ER or in the main lobby reading a magazine.

We activated his phone remotely and found the following images:

We will keep trying to contact him in order to provide you with weather and area events.  In the meantime, please consider the items below.

If you've never been to the Marilla Museum & Pioneer Place, drop by this Saturday for the Strawberry Social. It's a neat place and there's a ton of things to see. Peek inside the old home and climb up to the second story. Take a look at the old tools and equipment in the barn (can you guess what each one does?). The museum in the basement of the township hall has a miniature model of Marilla, photographs from days long gone and much more. If you look closely, you'll find out where the name "Marilla" came from...

This just in! Frozen custard has been added to the menu. Demonstrations of wool-spinning on a loom will be offered. And a new item on loan to the museum will be displayed - have you ever seen a Boneshaker before? One look and your head will spin...it all starts tomorrow at 2pm!
