Manistee Power Outage

"The Cooling Center located at Little River Casino and Resort, at 2700 Orchard Highway in Manistee, has NOW become [an] OVERNIGHT shelter where those in need of relief from the heat can stay overnight." -Kevin Bavers of the American Red Cross, Northwest Michigan

The Manistee News Advocate reports that repair work on a faulty transformer may take longer than expected, with power restoration estimated at 11pm tonight.
